Flower Power!
was born from a dream that I had while photographing
the spring 2005 wildflower bloom in Death Valley National
Park.
While camping, I had a dream about my brother, Kurt
Whyte, who died from diabetes on 8/12/2003. He had only
lived 31 years. He had been living with this awful disease
since he was 6 years old.
Because of this vision, I decided to act
on it.
Flower Power!
is a way to help find a cure for juvenile (type 1) diabetes.
In the next pages, there are photographs of the beautiful
flowers and landscape of Death Valley National Park.
To help find a cure for diabetes, all you need to do
is purchase prints of the images. Each color 8"
x 10" print is signed. The prints are $75.00 each.
Sixty dollars($60.00) from each print will go to the
Juvenile Diabetes Research
Foundation International (JDRF). You will receive
a receipt for your tax purposes from JDRF. Frames and
other size prints are available. Please contact me if
this is desired. With your help, we can find a cure.
No child should have to grow up or live with this disease.
Have a vision to find a cure and act
on it.
