Thank you for taking the time to look at my web site!

 I started taking pictures when I was 13. A family trip across the United States was the  subject.

After realizing what I could do with the visual medium, I majored in Photo Communications at California State University, Fullerton. Photography has been one of my passions ever since!

Some of my other passions  are hanging out with  family and friends, reading a variety of books, Anusara yoga, anything with nature, gardening, cross county skiing, backpacking,kayaking,hiking, mountain biking, knitting,  learning new things, and trying new recipes in the kitchen (or back country oven!).

I am happily married and we have a 7 year old daughter with whom we enjoy home learning/organic learning.

The beach in lovely Corona del Mar and  the majestic Alabama Hills at the base of Mount Whitney and the Eastern Sierra Nevada Range are what we call  home. I feel very fortunate to have 2 amazing studios in which to work.

We have 1 African Dwarf frog named Jumpy, multiple fish, and a surrogate pet cat named Explorer.

My capabilities will help you complete your project and achieve your goals with a minimum of stress. One of my jobs is to make your job easier.

 

Assignment or stock photography: I offer both!  I have an extensive stock photography library and you can contact me directly.   Also, you can go to the following links where I am represented: GettyImages.com and Alamy.com, as well.                                                                                                                   

Pre-Production: Planning is a huge part of any project.  I listen to what your goals of the project are, ask questions, then take into account the  logistics and budget  in order to create the images.

Capture: High resolution digital or medium/large format film. It depends on what you need.

Post-Production: Preparation of the files so that they are ready for web or print. Retouching and composite work. Photoshop is my friend!

Government Contracting: I am listed in the US Central Contractor Registry as a woman owned small business, have been awarded contracts,  and have successfully worked with government entities. If you are in need of a sub-contractor, I would be happy to help!

My approach:  Attitude, flexibility, attention to detail, and creative problem solving. I have backpacked through the Rockies, Dolomites, and Sierra Nevadas; hung out of helicopters; had 22 babies on the set at once(all crying!); rappelled into canyons; taken float planes into remote areas; taken boats to small islands; negotiated congested cities; and driven in rush hour traffic through Los Angeles. I can do what it takes to create the images you want. The creative solution for each situation is different. I bring 18 years of experience to the table to keep my clients happy!
